If human endeavour can put a man on the moon within a decade of the vision being articulated – more than 50 years ago – why then, in this Internet age and after more than a decade, are we still talking about putting government forms and services online? From a public sector perspective, we need to think differently about complex problems. I highlight some interesting insights from the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London and the Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
