Cardiac disease kills 17.7 million world wide people each year. In the US, Australia, UK, New Zealand, Canada and other countries – health illiteracy impacts cardiac disease outcomes – people cannot understand basic information, cannot read forms, websites or medicine labels. Women, people with disability, different ethnic backgrounds – are underserved and effectively excluded from cardiac rehab. The purpose of the Digital Human Cardiac Coach is to democratise access to cardiac health information – via natural empathic conversations – for everyone.
